Chain Me Beanie- HocknChain
There is something so satisfying about working with perfect patterns, talented designers, gorgeous friends, and luxurious wool!!! This project really has it all and I'm just a bit excited to share it with you!
For the designer: I have worked with HocknChain designs in the past. Her patterns are very unique in that they knit up so quickly! The finished product always has a very modern and sexy feel to it! There is so much creativity infused into each project. If you are seeking fun, quick, beginner friendly patterns be sure to check out the links (will post them below)...
For the pattern: The Chain Me Beanie has not been released. There are still testers hard at work editing and detailing this pattern. However, once the design is available, I will be sure post a direct link for you! I know you'll want to grab a copy for your collection because it is going to be one of your favorite patterns! I'm sure of it!
This hat is knit in the round on size 15 needles! There aren't any complicated stitches and you don't have to do any math! (That is my favorite part!) I knit this while watching tv and was finished much faster than expected!
There is one very special part in the pattern that aids you in keeping the hat and brim looking even and beautiful. Dana has included picture tutorials to help navigate. I really appreciated that small aspect because it kept the pattern interesting!

This is a roving merino wool. It is so soft and luxurious! The Fossil Gray is the perfect neutral. This yarn was great for the Chain Me Beanie as it produced a lovely stitch definition! I can't wait to get my hands on some more of this. PS: I spotted some at my local Marshall's!!!
My sweet friend modeling The Chain Me Beanie. Texas had an unusually cold day and she was glad to have her hat!! Also, she was the sweetheart that gifted me this lovely fiber. So it was a nice surprise to give her something beautiful in return for the sweet gesture!
