Day 3: Bobble Stitch Bonnet

Okay, this came out way cuter than I expected it to be!  I was a bit worried about the size of the "bobbles" on something so small.  But, with this green wool, the bonnet looks almost reptilian. I like it!  Wouldn't it be adorable in a dinosaur themed set up?? 

Anyhow, this stitch is super simple and looks more intimidating than it really is.  Don't you love things like that.  This knit up really quickly and I will most likely add it into a design in the future. 

The #100daysofknitstitches is really starting to inspire me.  There haven't been any new designs on my end lately. I've stayed busy testing.  However, I'm thinking that I might need to put something pen to paper or yarn to needle???

The Adeline Slouchy (a beehive beanie)

One of the most knit-worthy humans I know is my daughter's Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Mary Helen! She is kind, loving, and persistently attentive to my 5 year old.  I am honored that she requested a hat. The Adeline Slouchy is a beehive style hat.  This is a simple stitch combination used in a variety of projects. I hope you enjoy knitting this up as much as I have! The Phyllis Wristlet

This pattern came about fairly spontaneously! My sweet friend, Ashley, had been seeking a certain pattern for arm warmers.  When none were found, I decided to try my hand at writing up a pattern for her.  Thus, this was named after her Aunty, Phyllis. The Phyllis Wristlet is intended to be a simple and quick knit. It is great for new knitters who desire to create a gift worthy project. Knit flat and boasts a beautiful mock cable.
